THE WORKFLOW LAUNCHPAD for FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHERS

welcome to

Build a business that doesn't =
more face-time for in-person meetings, a ton of constant admin work, or reinventing the wheel with each client...

You started this whole thing because you love photography - you dug your feet in, only to find endless blog posts and articles teaching you that there's a billion little decisions and no clear roadmap.

If the "business" part of being a photographer feels Messy, this is your ticket to margin, clarity, and intention.

the only reason you haven’t done them yet is because it’s all SO dang COMPLICATED.

  • It seems like all the advice you’ve read on creating systems and workflows doesn’t fit your lifestyle - it’s super rigid and takes a ton of extra time.

  • You signed up for that CRM a year ago but you’re still using spreadsheets and notepads to try to keep up.

  • You’ve tried using email templates but always end up rewriting everything anyways.

You have some ideas and a list a mile long of things you "should do..."

I'll work with you one on one to troubleshoot and find the right adjustments till it does, OR I'll refund your full payment, guaranteed.

The promise

what if your business felt less like this:

  • endless back and forth emails
  • clients showing up late or stepping on your creative toes the whole shoot
  • answering the same Qs for every client in custom emails for every session
  • extra phone calls, meetings, and sales sessions that take away from your personal margin
  • haphazard workflows that feel randomly pieced together
  • missing sessions, steps, or deadlines
  • unorganized and out of control

getting sales notifications while you’re playing w your kids, eating dinner, or doing literally anything else!

Confidently executing your process from start to finish with every client

and more like this:

building personal, lasting relationships with families as they grow

setting and upholding kind but firm professional boundaries

getting dream clients who are ready to book within 7 days of finding you (no more “I’ll ask my husband + get back to you”)

a client experience that honors busy families (including yours)

serving from a place of margin and joy overflowing

a structure that makes you excited to shoot and sell every time (not churning out sessions like a mall elf)

Knowing exactly what to say to questions, pushback, or bad-fit clients (and feeling zero guilt about it!)

This is for family photographers who:

  • want flexibility and margin in their work/life balance.

  • are ready to up-level, be the boss of their business, and put in the effort to make it happen

  • don’t have the capacity, ability, or desire for a bunch of extra phone calls or separate sales meetings.

  • want their clients to have well-printed, archival keepsakes, and the opportunity to make those decisions on their own

  • want and/or need to make more money!

  • need a simple client experience that works for clients who have complicated schedules, newborn babies, live out of town, work nights, or any other combination of circumstances that comes with serving families

Everything you need to take your biz from haphazard hot mess

TO PEACEFULLY AUTOMATED + PERSONALIZED WHERE IT COUNTS

Here’s the thing - you could keep going in the thrown-together way that’s gotten you this far. But if it feels like the wheels are starting to fall off the cart...

(AKA you’re overwhelmed and you know your processes aren’t sustainable)

you’re heading for burnout. Maybe you’ve already hit it.

Burnt out photographers aren’t creating soulful, meaningful work that touches lives and homes. They're not able to serve families well with their utmost gifts and talents.

They’re pressing the button and slowly dying inside.

I’m willing to be that’s not what you had in mind when you decided to become a photographer.

Overwhelm - the feeling of it or the fear of it - is stopping you from building the life-giving business you really desire.

And if you haven’t hit that point yet and are still building a business that still feels small and scrappy…

the only thing stopping you from a peaceful, sustainable, life-supporting creative business is your fear of leveling up.

SYSTEMS and streamlined WORKFLOWs are the key stepping into your power as both a creative and a true boss.

I used to feel like a hamster on a wheel.

Rewind (even further) to my time as a teenager and then as a college student, working in those old mall portrait studios... I was trained in executing IPS and I worked with hundreds of families in this model, which I then adjusted and carried into my own business when I launched it in 2013.

While there were some definite upsides, I noticed a general frustration among families around making on-the-spot purchase decisions, feeling regret, or needing additional support after the sales meeting.

Not to mention, as my own family grew, my time felt more precious and scheduling extra intake calls and meetings and sales sessions became inconvenient and stressful, for me, my family, and my clients.

That’s when I set my mind on virtual sales and creating a process that worked for everyone.

Over the past 5 years, I’ve built and refined a system of booking, preparation, and delivery that is flexible enough to accommodate variability among my clients, while still maintaining dependability, consistency, and boundaries that allow me to work from a place of creativity and joy.

...wondering "when is this going to feel easier?"

"when will I start enjoying this and feel confident instead of constantly questioning, defending, and changing my processes every.single.year?”

5 years into my business, I was still working my butt off but everything felt messy - like I was totally faking it and not really making it.

Now, I work <20 hours a week and support my family of 4 (soon to be 5!) on a full-time income

It's possible and so life-giving… and you can have it, too (in a lot less time).

"HOW MUCH WORK WILL THIS REQUIRE?
SYSTEMS FEEL HARD."

The answer? I’m literally giving you all the pieces to the puzzle.

Questionnaires, email templates for every step, exact samples of workflow triggers and set-up for your workflow, videos walking your through the process from start to finish, time management tips and systems... ALL DONE FOR YOU.

There will be pieces you’ll need to plug in on your own that I can’t do for you - re: your contract, your brand images, your payment processing... but CRM tutorials can hook you up with that easily.

That said, this isn't a quickie course. We're talking sustainability here, so this is for photographers who are willing to put in the work upfront now so they can run more efficiently later. With all the resources and the exact roadmap in your hands, we'll cut the process down for you SIGNIFICANTLY. Each module can be completed in <1 hour, but it's up to you how much time and repetition is needed to make it really stick.

Now how would that feel?

Maybe you're thinking...

Dedicate an hour a day or a few hours of naptime hustle a week to the course material and implementation and you'll be up and running in < 1 month with a fully operational plan of action to carry you and your clients through whatever the future holds.

I'm so confident that this can change your life and business and am PUMPED for you to dig in- it can be implemented all at once or piece by piece with as much time as you need ... but within the first 30 days, if you've taken a look through the course and don't feel like it can add value, you can contact me at leah@lofirefly.com. The promise

You'll have small group + individual support whenever you need it.

And if you get stuck or hit a wall...

  • Closed enrollment dates for the course mean that we'll form small cohorts of photographers who can support each other while working through the course within a private, personalized facebook group.

  • I'll be checking in there regularly to answer questions, give individualized feedback, and provide bonus teaching as you work through the material.

  • The modules will be released in smaller chunks on a weekly schedule vs all at once so we can provide real-time accountability and reduce overwhelm with implementation.

“Why can’t I just commit to finally spending 2 hrs actually implementing the CRM I bought last year?”

You could, but you haven’t yet - that’s probably because the 30,000 ft view looks like your kids shot silly string all over your house and you have no idea where to start. This course it the launchpad. A clear method of puzzle pieces that fit together into a sustainable workflow built for family photographers, specifically.

you may still have questions...

"What’s the difference between this client experience workflow and something like the Simple Sales System?

There are several main differences, mostly around the philosophy around transparency, booking methods, and the delivery process  (like when they choose their collection, how clients view their final images, and deadlines). All in all, this method provides flexibility to the client while still holding boundaries and expectations for the business. It removes more of the IPS-ish pressure while still making customer experience and product sales a priority.

"Do I have to have a CRM for this to work?"

A CRM will be crucial to seeing the results of time freedom you crave - but if you don't have one yet, (or do but it's not really working well for you!) that's fine. I'll help you ease in and refine the pieces to make the workflow shine for you. I use Sprout Studio as my CRM and all my video tutorials and walkthroughs are demonstrated with this platform BUT if you use another CRM + delivery method (ex Dubsado, 17Hats, Honeybook with Pixieset, Instaproofs, etc) you can still transfer the same ideas, emails, sequencing triggers etc. to any platform.

What if I try this and it's just not for me?

Making business decisions is hard (that's why you're here!) but investing in education to help with that shouldn't be one of them.

If you start the course and aren't happy with it or see the value for your business within the first 30 days, I'll work with you to troubleshoot and find the right adjustments. If you're still like NEVER MIND, take me back to my spreadsheets and all inclusive delivery, I'll refund your full payment, guaranteed.

"But I'm an ARTIST, I don't do boring things like systems!"

If more $$, more of your dream clients, more predictable bookings, more flexibility to work only when you want to, + more freedom to create with the artistry you desire sounds boring, you go ahead and keep believing that artists don’t do systems  ;-)

On the other hand, if you’re ready to experience more fulfillment + peace of mind than you ever thought possible in running a photography business, join in and get started - remember, it's risk free.

How long will this take to watch and implement? When will I see results?

The modules themselves include both pdf and video walkthroughs to guide you from start to finish of the workflow, which you could digest in a few hours. Because this is a project-based course, though, you'll likely come back to the videos and templates several times to gain confidence and familiarity with the process. Some students may choose to implement all the email templates, guides, workflow triggers etc. as-is, but others may choose to take more time tweaking or personalizing them, so the total time it takes is really flexible.

There will also be pieces that will require your focus outside of course, like pulling images for your portfolio, updating the experience guide with your info, and setting your price lists. The course can't do this for you - but it can give you guidance on how to do them, and once you have the pieces, the workflow provided will help you put everything into plug everything into place and start sharing right away, booking, and wow-ing right away.
